Going With The Times

Something interesting about me:
I don’t know if this is interesting enough, but I used to be a skateboarder and it’s one of the reasons why I became interested in fashion. I was intrigued by the sub-culture, music, dressing, and visuals.

How I came to be doing what I’m doing now:
I studied fashion design in LASALLE College of the Arts after my national service. I wanted to create a streetwear brand back then, but I landed an internship at a tailor shop and I just grew to learn the trade. Fast forward 4 years and I now have my own company.

Ideal work uniform:
Basically just oxford shirts and high-waisted trousers. And if possible, sneakers every day. I wear my leather shoes on days when I have meetings.

What would you never be caught wearing?
Drop-crotch pants. I used to wear them before, but now…

You mentioned you’ve been spending your free time on Netflix. What are you watching at the moment?
Black Mirror. Narcos was good, and so was Stranger Things. I don’t have much free time because most of my time is spent at work. And after work I have beers with my friends and just chill.
