Sweetly shy, Elisa was persuaded to pose for us only after much cajoling from her friends. It was her outfit’s bouquet of fun, pastel colours that caught our eye — bright yellow, bronze and turquoise were a refreshing combination against the drab concrete of the CBD. Having lived abroad for some time, it’s possible Elisa developed her quirky sense of style from a hybrid of influences. The star of her outfit, a chunky necklace, was bought from a charity sale, making a statement in more ways than one. As a mother, comfort probably ranks high on Elisa’s list when she considers what to wear. Elisa professes a love for simple clothing; looking at her loose, flowing grey smock accompanied by comfortable, snug white pants, we can’t help but agree that there’s a certain beauty in the simplicity she advocates.
