Whenever we bump into Chloe, she never fails to dazzle us, even in a simple and casual get-up. Besides swapping her previously long locks for a neat shoulder-length cut, Chloe’s personal style hasn’t changed much over the years. “If anything I think I have stepped up the comfort level! Otherwise, I still stick to my usual classic-chic style, with the occasional one or two statement pieces.” Quality is also an important consideration, she says. “I prefer clothes that will last me more than 5 washes.” We asked the busy executive assistant what she does to destress, and Chloe shares that she likes to read and exercise. “Reading takes me out of the moment, and when I’m really, really stressed, I exercise to clear my mind.” She also enjoys spending time with friends, sometimes at their places. In fact, the best piece of advice she’s ever received comes from a friend’s father. “He once told me: hide in reed, bob and weave. This means to go with the flow while planning your next move. It’s very practical for all aspects of life, I believe.” This also seems to guide Chloe’s personal motto: “Never delve too deep in your own mistakes and sadness, because time and energy will be wasted on being negative, rather than focused on finding the solution.”
