Possibilities

Versatility is something Desy looks out for when dressing up for work. “I try to look for pieces that are appropriate to meet clients in, yet still fitting for meet ups with friends after work.” She is currently working in the finance industry, a job she loves, but if she could, she’d love to have her own business. The different ideas and possibilities excite her, although, if she had to narrow it down to one career option, she would start a home design and furnishing business with her sister, who is an interior designer in Indonesia. In her free time, Desy prefers to be a homebody by watching Korean dramas and cooking, in particular savoury foods which are her favourite. “I really like salty food; to be exact, I love salt,” she says. ”When I was a kid, I used to eat salt while watching TV as my parents didn’t allow us to eat snacks because they were considered unhealthy. I would climb onto a chair to get a spoonful of salt and eat it.”
