A People Person

We were surprised to hear that Jennifer hails from just across the Causeway, given her fluent Mandarin with a distinct Taiwanese accent. She explains how she previously spent seven years in Taiwan, moving there when she was 18 to complete her degree in video production and later build her career in a related industry. She moved back to Malaysia after being headhunted, and her new job in branding and marketing sees her travelling to Singapore thrice a week. However, this self-confessed foodie is intent on pursuing her dream of owning a specialty F&B store on our shores, saying that she loves the culture and environment here. Food is also a common language that we share, it seems. “I believe that the best way to bring people together is through food,” Jennifer says. “And the best way to build relationships is through spaces that encourage intimate conversations and self-discovery.”
