How long have you been in Singapore?
I’ve been here for ten years. I love the weather here—I hate it when it gets either too hot or cold, so I think the weather in Singapore is just nice. I’ll never leave the equator area. (laughs)
How would you describe your style?
Casual. I’m dressed casually today because I don’t have any appointments. But I like the style of models in the United Kingdom, as well as street style, which I feel I can’t carry well at the moment. That’s why I’m on a diet now. (laughs)
In my years of work, one thing I’ve learnt is:
Try to change the mindset of an employee to an employer’s mindset. It will make you more eager to learn and more proactive. So whatever you are looking for will come to you automatically.
My wardrobe essential:
Plain buttoned shirts, because they’re versatile and I can switch from a casual to formal look by changing my sneakers to high heels.
Best decision I’ve ever made:
I resigned from work to be with my son when he was born, for his first two years. Now he is already six, and I am so proud of him.
