In A Different Light

What are you currently doing?
I’ve been in the media industry for three years, and I’m currently a social media specialist in a digital marketing company. I started off doing more sales and servicing, but now I’m specialising in social media advertising for clients on platforms like Facebook, Twitter, and Snapchat.

Something interesting about me:
I like ‘guy sports’—I play soccer and I breakdance. (laughs) I started breakdancing because I wanted to try out something different. I did modern and Chinese dance when I was younger, but when I moved on to Polytechnic, I thought that the guys doing breakdancing were cool so I decided to try it out. As for soccer, I started playing because my boyfriend forced me to watch soccer. He likes Liverpool, so to piss him off, I started to support Manchester United.

My favourite comfort food:
I like Korean food, and my boyfriend is Korean, so he brings me to places in Singapore that not many Singaporeans will go to.

What kind of music do you like?
I don’t really listen to music these days but I used to like hardcore music, and bands like Pierce The Veil and A Day To Remember.

What do you do in your free time?
I spend most of my time with my two bunnies that are really fat and playful. (laughs) I can’t keep a dog so I chose to keep bunnies instead.

If you could live in a TV series, film or a book, what would it be and why?
I like horror films, so maybe Saw or Final Destination. (laughs) I think the cinematography’s really good.
