Simple Pleasures

Describe yourself with a movie title.
Home Alone. I’m quite a homebody and being a single child, I’ve grown to prefer being by myself and doing things alone, or at most with one or two people.

Tell us about a recent dream.
It was something about bringing my parents along to work so that they could have all the food at my weekday breakfast spots that I wanted them to try so much. I always send them photos of new dishes that I try. Strangely enough it finally happened not too long ago!

If you can keep any animal as a pet, what would you want?
A chameleon that would rest on my shoulder and tag along when I go out, like Ms. Valerie Frizzle from The Magic School Bus.

If someone were to offer you an unlimited supply of one thing, what would you ask for?
I’d ask for petrol and go on countless night drives.

If you could be anything in your next life, what would it be and why?
A pigeon in a city! I love urban landscapes so it’d be nice to fly around all day, exploring spaces and observing how people go about their daily lives. I can also bless people with ‘good luck’ with my droppings. (laughs)
