Tell us something interesting about yourself.
I don’t know if this really qualifies, but it’s something people have told me they find strange about me—I love massaging or rubbing my bruises. Most people hate it, but I really enjoy the sensation for some weird reason. Speaking of which, I’m probably the clumsiest person I know, which explains all the bruises.

How did you come to be doing what you’re doing now?
I used to be a fashion writer at Her World, but after a while I decided I wanted to try something different in a slightly more corporate environment, which is how I ended up doing Business Development at a law firm.

In your years at work, what is one thing that you’ve learnt?
Learn how and when to say ‘no’. Don’t burn yourself out unnecessarily—any reasonable supervisor or boss will try to understand. They can’t help you if they don’t know what’s going on.

Ideal work uniform:
To be honest, I’ve never liked uniforms because I hate having to adhere to dress codes or rules. But an outfit that I have been constantly throwing on the past few weeks would be well-fitted pants, paired with a plain, single-coloured spaghetti strap camisole and a blazer, or a vest if it’s too hot outside. For footwear, I’m usually in my white Supergas, but I change into heels at work.

What are some of your guilty pleasures?
Romance novels, especially those involving elaborate love triangles or infidelity. I’m not particularly sure why, but they’ve always intrigued me.

If you had to live alone for the rest of your life, which place would you choose and why?
A library or a bookstore, I guess. If I can’t have human interaction, I’d like to be able to read about it at the very least.
