What’s something not many people know about you?
I’d like to start an online shop selling hats for cats! (laughs) The idea came to me after I watched a YouTube video about making hats for cats, and I loved Dr Seuss’s The Cat In The Hat as a kid. I have a cat, who’s the most difficult thing to do anything for.

What’s your spirit animal?
A butterfly. They’re constantly evolving, and at their peak they die. I read that a butterfly’s sole purpose in life is to pollinate flowers, so you’re born, you reproduce, and then you die. (laughs)

What’s the most interesting encounter you’ve had?
I once had a near-death experience on a motorcycle. I was riding a motorcycle without a licence in Thailand because I thought it was very similar to riding a bicycle, and I almost rode off a cliff. I was riding downhill, and at the end of the slope there was a steep curve. My brakes weren’t working, and the only thing that saved me was a patch of mud just before the edge. The weight of the motorcycle made me sink into the mud.

If you could live in a TV series, what would it be?
Game Of Thrones, because I identify with Tyrion Lannister—I drink and I know things.

If you could trade lives with anyone in the world for just a day, who would it be and why?
The late fantasy author Terry Pratchett. I’d love to live in a world of absurd fantasy. 

What could you give a 40-minute presentation on, with absolutely no preparation?
How clothes without accessories are just cloth.
