Do you have any random or useless talents?
I can burp on command! (laughs) I can also sound like a bird chirping when I whistle.

Have you made any New Year’s resolutions?
I don’t really believe in resolutions, but I’ve set some goals for myself this year. I’ve been flying for five years now, and I’d like to explore another line of work.

If you weren’t in your current job, what would your dream job be?
I wanted to be a fashion stylist when I was younger. I’d always thought it was interesting, but flying was another dream of mine and I chose to pursue that first.

Can you share a memorable encounter you’ve had with a passenger on board?
I once got into an argument with a passenger because they refused to comply with our safety regulations, and in the end my captain had to come out to resolve the situation. It wasn’t a pleasant experience, but I learned a lot about how to deal with difficult situations.

What’s the best advice you’ve received?
Don’t look back, keep moving forward, and do the things you want to.

Describe your ideal weekend:
I’d spend it with my friends, just hanging out and catching up. There’s a coffee house in Tampines where we regularly meet up; it’s our favourite place to hang out.
