To a non-discerning eye, Prashant may seem all geared up and ready to head into the weekend in his vivacious floral attire, but don’t be fooled—the Shentonista team actually stumbled upon him just as he was catching a quick break from a long shift. His easy-going demeanour and hearty laughter easily put all of us at ease, as he shared with us more about his current position as the General Manager of The Projector, an independent cinema. As someone whose occupational hazard is going through as many movies as humanly possible, we thought it’d be hard for him to pick his favourite movie of 2019, but Prashant had already made up his mind: Bong Joon-ho’s black comedy Parasite undeniably tops his list, and we couldn’t agree more.
