Jackie says that if she wasn’t working in a legal firm, she’d want to open her very own cat café, and save as many street cats as possible. “I’m a crazy cat lady.” She also mentions that she would love to work at Vogue, under Anna Wintour, and we can clearly see that Jackie loves her fashion. “My style varies,” she says. “I like the whole cool, edgy, minimalist vibe ala Cara Delevingne, or from designers such as Alexander Wang, but I also love the pretty, billowy-type dresses from Jenny Packham. But on a day-to-day basis I just try keep my outfits low-key as long as it looks put-together.” We love how her pleated skirt is of a demure, office-appropriate length, but the subtle silver shimmer adds a touch of glamour, while her bright blue bag adds a little bit of fun. “I’m not a big fan of statement accessories, so I try to accent monochromatic outfits with a pop of colour, like blue bags or shoes or just simple jewellery.” Jackie is also an avid runner, and reckons she has participated in about 10 half marathons so far. “All that running has actually weakened my knees but nothing can deter me from wearing my heels!” Perhaps this is an example of her personal life motto, put into action: “Do first, think later,” she says. “That has actually gotten me into more trouble than anything, but no point taking life too seriously sometimes.”
