We see you just got a tattoo! Tell us more about it.
Yes, I just got this tattoo of my six-year-old cat Louie that I adopted last year. He’s my first cat—I used to have hamsters and a dog.

So would you say you’re more of a cat or a dog person?
I would say I used to be more of a dog person, but now, I’m more of a cat person, though I will say I still love both. Sometimes, I feel quite bad for them because they can’t voice out for themselves, and can only bark or meow, so it’s up to us as owners to understand what our pets are trying to tell us, and what they need.

Tell us about your tattoo experience!
It’s my first tattoo, actually! I think this is the craziest, most exciting thing I’ve done this year. I was expecting it to be more painful, but luckily it wasn’t—my artist was very gentle. I don’t know for sure if I will get more, but highly likely yes (laughs).

I’ve actually been thinking about getting a tattoo for a very, very long time—a few years in fact, but because pain is a huge consideration for me, I took a long time to process this. I’ve always known I wanted to get something meaningful as my first, so this is perfect!

We hear you’ve been married for a while now! Tell us more about what it’s been like, and what you’ve learned over the years.
Yes, I’ve been married for five years now. I think in a marriage, I’ve learned that we should always work things out together and have open discussions instead of making decisions for each other or just doing whatever you want. That said, it’s always nice to have someone to share every life experience with—it’s like having double the enjoyment!

Yeah, it’s always nice having a partner-in-crime! Are you two planning to have kids?
We are, but we’ll just let nature take its course. We won’t force it or anything.
