Introduce yourself!
I’m a flight attendant from Chiba, Japan, and I’ve been doing this for around one year, and I don’t want to quit this job because I enjoy it so much (laughs).

Congrats on reaching one year! Do you fly to Singapore often then?
Thank you! Well, that depends on my schedule, but I’ve been here a few times already.

We hope you like it here! What’s the longest flight you’ve worked?
The flight from Japan to Houston—it’s about 14 hours.

Wow, that’s really long! Considering how often you travel, what’s your favourite thing to do in a new or foreign country?
I like to spend time at cafes reading books and essays, specifically philosophy as I enjoy thinking about life. I also like to travel and explore everywhere with my colleagues (laughs).

Then have you gotten the chance to visit any cafes in Singapore?
Yes, there are so many good cafes in Singapore. My favourite is Arabica Coffee, the one that’s really popular in Japan too.

How about your hometown, Chiba? What places would you recommend visiting?
I would say Disneyland since everyone will be able to have a good time there!

The happiest place in the world! Do you have a favourite Disney character?
I like Jasmine. Aladdin is also my favourite movie!

Cute! Going back to your job, since you travel often, do you have a dream destination you’d love to visit for a holiday?
I want to go to Honolulu, Hawaii, because I like the sea and tropical places!
