Introduce yourself!
Hi I’m Grace, and I’m currently a Senior Marketing Executive in the beauty industry. As a homebody, I enjoy staying in bed and watching my favourite drama series.

There’s no better feeling than getting all cosy in bed! Is marketing something you’ve always wanted to pursue?
I’ve been in the industry since 2018, so I’d say yes, kind of! But it’s actually more of a yes and no!

Beauty has always been my passion. I dreamt of becoming a dermatologist or cosmetic scientist when I was younger, but I just can’t do chemistry for real (laughs). I thought business and marketing in beauty might be the next closest thing, so here I am.

In another life, what would you be doing for work?
Maybe something completely different like social work? I think being a psychologist or medical nurse is pretty cool too!

What’s the biggest lesson you’ve learnt in 2025?
To live in the present, one day at a time.

In a similar vein, what’s your fondest memory from 2025?
⁠The short Vietnam trip I took with a great group of friends, because we made so many memories that I now look back on and smile at.

Aww, that’s sweet! It’s so important to have a tribe of friends you know you can really count on. As we move into 2026, what are some goals or aspirations you have for the new year?
I want to be more grateful for the things I currently have, and to better treasure the close people in my life who love me like family.

On the topic of close friends, we understand you and Adlin have been friends for a really long time! Can you tell us more about your friendship and what you appreciate most about her?
We were classmates back in St. Anthony’s Convent and she is the one and only secondary school friend that I still stay in touch with. I appreciate that Adlin is a very loving and caring friend. She’s one of the kindest souls with a genuinely good heart.
