From Theory to Practice

Introduce yourself!
I’m currently working as an HR intern at GAC! It’s not bad, and I’ve been doing it for about three months now. I studied Human Resource Management and Psychology to land this internship. I still have half a year left until graduation, and my plan is to work full-time after so that I can pursue my further studies part-time!

How do you spend your free time?
We don’t have work-from-home, so when I am home, I like to spend my time with family. Both of my siblings are married and have already moved out, so I usually just watch movies with my parents. We go to the cinema together too!

Does it get very busy at work?
We don’t have a lot of free time at the office; we’re always occupied. But the year has been going well so far. I actually prefer working to going to school, so I can’t wait to finish my diploma. I’ve always preferred hands-on learning rather than just sitting and listening to lectures.

Do you like your workplace?
I have to walk very far just to get anywhere. Other than that, it’s okay! I’ve thought about it before, and I don’t know if I’d want to work around this area in the future—there’s just way too much walking involved, and it gets super hot outside!
