Considering herself a late bloomer when it comes to fashion, Kathleen admits to only just starting to get a sense of her personal style. “I’ve always found accessorising and colour coordinating a challenge but it’s getting easier. I get inspired mostly by my friends and people I see on the streets – I definitely check out girls more than guys,” she laughed. Perhaps in the meantime then, she’s keeping to a safe monochrome palette. In a form-fitting dove grey dress with black piping details and a pair of simple black pumps, the only hint of colour came from her fuchsia wallet. Kathleen is Canadian but has lived in Singapore most of her life and considers herself one of the locals. “I’m a sucker for local food; beef rendang is an all-time favourite and I get the hor fun from the hawker centre near my place on a weekly basis,” she chucked. The owner of two cats spends her weekends wakeboarding at Punggol Marina and has recently also started playing ping pong in little nook located in Lavender. “It’s a good way to spend a couple of hours on a Sunday afternoon!”
