“My wife and I started our design studio when we were still architecture students as a way to explore the vast realm of design outside of the field of architecture and dream bigger. We never expected it to become a business, but one thing led to another and it’s been 11 years since!”

“Since getting married and moving out of my parents’ place, I’ve been missing my childhood bedroom more and more. It was a source of comfort for the homebody in me growing up, and even got me through the whole lockdown during the Covid-19 pandemic!”

“I like to put my outfits together by getting inspiration from video game and anime characters, so it’s a lot of techwear and cyberpunk style. More recently though, I’ve been trying to experiment with more avant-garde fashion pieces, like these pants that I’m wearing.”

“In my free time outside of work, I like to go to South Korea for 2-3 weeks at a time to attend concerts. It’s different watching K-Pop artists perform in their home country because they’re more comfortable in a familiar environment and hence enjoy it more."

“One of my favourite bands is Son Lux. If you didn’t know, they composed the soundtrack album for the film Everything Everywhere All at Once. Their music is very cinematic and almost cerebral, blending a lot of sounds while still being rooted in melody.”

“I find that many Gen Z’s like myself are very insecure about their local identity because we’ve been Westernised and cannot speak our own dialects or mother tongue. But for me, being Singaporean is about carving out a space that we belong to right here.”

“I’m a single mum of two teenagers aged 14 and 19. They may be older now, but parenting never ends. The time I physically spend with then is decreasing over the years as they start to have lives of their own, but I know this is an organic process of growing up.”
