A Different Rhythm

Tell us something people don’t know about you.
Even though I’m in banking, I actually graduated with a degree in Music; I play the violin and piano.

What made you decide to do banking then?
My parents are both in banking and I’ve always been inspired by my mom so I decided to give the graduate programs a try. The program exposes you to the different parts of a bank and I find that exciting and challenging.  There’s always that passion versus career paradox, but I wanted to try something different.

What do you like to do during your free time?
Hang out with my friends and family or watch movies. I also like water sports. I have a diving licence but I don’t dive that often because it’s expensive. I mostly dive nearby in Indonesia and the furthest I’ve been is Papua New Guinea.

If you could do anything in the world, what would you do?
I’d definitely want to travel for a few months by myself. I want to visit Cambodia and Vietnam because those are the places I’ve haven’t been to in Asia.

What’s currently on repeat on your playlist?
I’m going to the Ultra music festival this month so I’ve been listening to tropical house.

What’s one thing you wish you had more time doing?
Volunteering more at animal shelters; I currently do so twice a month. I love animals and I have two cats at home named Truffle and Onion. We adopted them from the SPCA.
