A Great Place

How’s life been since we last saw you?
I think I’m in a pretty good place; I’ve been in my role at a co-working space for over 4 months. It’s been interesting and exciting, and I get to do something I love. Not kidding, I look forward going into the office each day. I’m also on a 4-day work week, so all good on work-life balance, I really can’t complain.

Something I’d tell my 16-year-old self:
When I was 16, I remember telling a friend, “One day I want to open a club, and I’d call it ____.” I can’t remember what I said but I’m pretty sure it was some cheesy name. I did it, eventually, so I guess I’d say to 16-year old Celeste: “It’s always good to have a dream, and don’t worry you’ll get there!”

A couple of good ways to relax:
I’m in love with Maison Martin Margiela’s Replica Beach Walk scent, so I light my candle and it makes me feel like I’m lying by the pool. A good massage is also key. My fail proof de-stresser: a bottle of wine.

Quote I live by:
“You’re a victim of your own mind.” It’s applicable in so many ways and I try to remind myself about this whenever I feel a little helpless, down, or frustrated. You can’t do something only if you believe you can’t. And when you think life gets a bit tough, it always helps to think of what you have instead of what you don’t.
