A Moment In Time
With over a decade’s worth of content in our database—endless conversations, personalities discovered, and photographs snapped—you might be wondering if we have a formula for sieving out the most interesting profiles on the street, among the throngs of people that pass us by. Well, on days where we walk for hours only to find just a handful of friendly faces, we really wish there was. But in reality, all it takes is a brief moment of serendipity, a few minutes when the stars just seem to align and we happen to lock eyes with an intriguing soul.
More often than not, we’ll have the luxury of time to chat and document our encounters, but sometimes, time just isn’t on our side, like when we bumped into Lucas. We were on the verge of calling it a day when we spotted the solitary figure of Lucas standing by the traffic light across the street, seemingly looking out for something or someone. We took our chances and approached him for a quick shoot, during which he revealed that he’s originally from Taiwan, but has been working in Singapore for the past 10 years.
But alas, just as we snapped our final photo, Lucas announced that he was late to meet a friend, and thus we bade our goodbyes and went our separate ways—Lucas to his dinner appointment, and us, home to soak our feet and recharge our social batteries till our next shoot.
