A Path Less Trekked

I feel that the power of fashion for a woman in the workplace has changed.
I love how we can champion comfort and confidence over “power heels”. My Stan Smiths are my work shoes which I wear everyday and I actually already have a backup pair for when these fall apart.
I experiment the most with my hair.
It’s changed at least seven times over the last four years. I’ve had long curly green hair, cropped short purple hair, and before my current grey-silver pixie it was completely white.
A place I’d like to visit:
South America. I’ve not been to places like Bolivia and Argentina, and I would love to trek the Torres del Paine W Trek in Patagonia. Road trips are my favourite way to travel and I’m very inspired to one day fit out a van and explore South America.
Something interesting about me:
I have two black cats that I adopted from the Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (SPCA) and they’re named after All Blacks players: Richie McCaw and Dan Carter.
Any tips/advice for people when it comes to pets?
Adopt, don’t buy, because there’re actually a lot of friendly cats in the shelters. One thing I love about adopting is how you might go in and meet the cats, but it’s the cats that choose you. When I went into the cattery, both of the cats I now have actually came down and sat on my lap. It kind of feels like you bond with the cats then. Even though they’re a bit older or might be a little afraid of humans, they’re still worth a lot of love and time.
