A Work Of Art

If you thought Ally looked familiar, that’s because she’s the twin sister of Vicky whom you met here. The chattier of the two, she boasts the same alabaster skin and girlish charm, but it was her cropped, wide pants that caught our eye. Not quite the usual for a petite girl, Ally pulled off the challenging silhouette by tucking a kimono sleeve blouse in high on the waist and finishing the look with chic ballet flats for a relaxed yet polished look. In our conversation, she came across as a big foodie with a sense of humour – her top hits include a good American burger (“dripping with oil”), egg tarts (“the main reason I visit Hong Kong”) and squid ink pasta (“especially if I’m with a friend I want to gross out”). Ally is currently enamoured with Wes Anderson movies but, like her twin, counts The Lord of the Rings trilogy as her favourite of all time. Her other obsession right now is learning about art and trying to create her own pieces which “are tangible, a physical manifestation of feelings and thoughts at a specific point in time”.
