If she could have her way, Annabel would love to be a spy, going undercover for missions. In the real world though, she’s a freelancer and has recently started teaching part-time. While her job has its merits, Annabel admits she misses having a good boss. “I had a great one in the previous multinational corporation I was at. Now that I’m freelancing I do miss having one to learn from and grow with.” When work gets a little overwhelming, Annabel unwinds by doing the things she loves — namely reading and baking. “Sometimes a dose of sporadic mad dancing in my room helps shake the stress off too.” Like her exuberant personality, Annabel’s style is never timid or meek, and she loves colours and prints. “In the earlier teen years I was a maverick with my wardrobe, and I loved experimenting. And I also believe when you have less to spend, you get really creative. That streak stuck with me, so even though my style and outfit choices feel ‘simpler’ these days, there will always be a dash of ‘LOL’ or ‘What is that?!’” Bubbly and fun as she may be, Annabel has a serious personal mission she’s hoping to accomplish this year. “I overcame anxiety last year,” she shares. “So this year’s about sharing that with those who are going through similar situations, embracing new opportunities and finding a couple of interesting, otherwise never-would-have-tried experiences.” Now, Annabel’s trying to make the most of life by living this philosophy: “Live loving, love living.”
