Tell us about yourself!
I’m LKG Deni. I like most things. My existence is debatable, if we’re being serious. I don’t believe in telling people about myself.

We hear you’re a rapper as well in the band LONGKANG GINAS (LKG). How would you describe yourself as a creative?
Open concept. Tap in if you’d like, or don’t—I don’t really care. Life’s too short for me to build expectations.

What do you do outside of music and LKG?
I’m in National Service (NS) right now. Also an open concept. Outside of LKG, I drink teh o (black tea) every day.

How has 2024 been for you, and what are you most looking forward to in 2025?
2024 was the fifth circle of hell. I enjoyed it. I made unimaginable progress. Hopefully 2025 won’t be the sixth circle of hell. But also, hopefully it is.

Was your 2024 Spotify wrapped what you expected it to be?
Honestly no idea. I went through many different phases in 2024, so it was a sickening mish-mash of it all. I could laugh at it.

If you could become a fictional character for a day, who would you be and why?
Lowkey Beast Boy from Teen Titans, my goat. I would turn into a gorilla and pick my nose for about an hour, then do the same with every other animal I can think of, just because.

What’s a pet peeve of yours?
I get infuriated by improper English. I mean, it’s completely understandable if it’s your second language, but if we use it every day, we should be better at it I think. Then again, I’ve also been told that I speak a language beyond the realm of comprehension.

What’s one thing that currently lives in your mind rent-free?
I was recently introduced to Imogen Heap’s Tiny Desk Concert—I think she’s pretty cool.
