The first thing we noticed about Olivia was her bright pink loafers which, we later found out, aren’t what she typically wears. “I’m usually in heels,” laughs Olivia. “I just happened to choose comfort today!” When Olivia shops for workwear, she picks pieces that she thinks would best represent her personality. “I tend to go for subtle-chic, classy looks,” she says. “It doesn’t have to be trendy, but it has to be okay for my body.” We see her embodying that with her outfit today: a structured dress, cinched in at the waist with a wrap belt, which highlights her curves at just the right spots. We asked Olivia where she’s from, and she shares how her ethnicity is an interesting question that she’s also trying to answer. “I’m a Canadian-born Korean who’s lived in Singapore for the past six years, and I’m intending to stay in Singapore for the foreseeable future. So am I Canadian, Korean, or Singaporean?” Olivia made the recent move here because of her job as a project manager, which, she tells us, is a job she loves. In her free time, Olivia participates in a variety of sports. “CrossFit, bootcamp sessions, trekking or hot yoga — I really enjoy breaking a sweat.” But if Olivia could do anything in the world right now, she’d like to travel and see more of the world. “I have a list of places I want to visit, including Bhutan, Tanzania, Zhangjiajie, Rajasthan, Colorado.”
