If you could trade lives with anyone, who would it be and why?
Michael Jackson, because I’d have my own Neverland. I love Disney and theme parks.

Of the theme parks you’ve visited, which has been your favourite?
Disneyland in Paris. When you step in, it feels like you’ve been transported to an imaginary land, or into a Disney movie. I’d say the Disney movie I relate to the most would be Peter Pan—sometimes I like thinking that I’ll never grow up, and that I’ll be forever young.

You practice yoga, and run your own yoga studio—what’s something that your yoga practice has taught you?
That my “100 percent” is different every day.

What is your favourite yoga pose?
Pincha, which is a forearm stand. The amount of ease or difficulty I have getting into the pose changes from day to day, and I like that process of being aware of my body, and knowing why it was harder for me to complete the pose on one day.

If you could say one thing to the entire world, all at once, what would it be?
I’d tell them to embrace self-acceptance. We’re often very fearful, and only want to put our best foot forward. We only choose to open up to people we’re close to, but I feel that if more people could be real in that way, the world would be a better place.

What’s the most random job you’ve ever had?
I once tried selling lemonade outside the gate of my house. I was in primary school then, and I just wanted to make some additional pocket money. I was outside for almost two hours, and my helper came to check on me a few times because she was worried I’d be kidnapped. (laughs)
