We spotted Philipp from across the road, and it would be difficult not to—the lanky German was clad in shades of pastel from top to toe, save for his shoes. “I was inspired by the water of the Maldives,” the innovation strategist says, explaining that he works with clients with resorts in tropical climates. Describing his style as casual, chic, and colourful, Philipp always adds something quirky to his outfit: bright orange loafers to a conventional navy suit, for instance. Previously seen here, Philipp was no less exuberant this time round, and attributes his sunny demeanour to “all-natural products and healthy nutrition”. “Second to that is probably charisma,” he grins. A man of many hats, Philipp also contributes to Esquire, does volunteer and pro bono work, and is currently writing his own quotes about life (with about 5,000 quotes to date). When asked about his busy work life, he shrugs. “It’s my own fault. I love it though.”
