Light As Air

Rianne is a like breath of fresh air in the midday rush downtown. With an ensemble that would not look out of place at Coachella, she balances out her breezy, dipped-hem dress with Western, cowboy-style ankle boots. An array of bracelets on her wrists keep in line with her festival-inspired getup, including a particular leopard one which she calls her lucky bracelet. This Dutch national has been in Singapore for close to three months now, and has easily acclimatised to our spicy food (“I just had mee goreng for lunch!”), but not so much to how busy and crowded our trains get during peak hour. Welcome to Singapore, Rianne – you’ll get used to all our idiosyncrasies soon!
