We spotted Jonathan from across the square, almost fully dressed in one single shade of colour. As we get closer, however, we note that he has actually played with the hues in the same colour family to pull together a cohesive mix of textures and tones. Another thing that checked our boxes—layering. With a light knitted sweater pulled over a classic white shirt, Jonathan adds a preppy twist to an otherwise safe outfit, and completes his look with brown leather shoes and a woven belt, which also matches his clutch and bracelet. In addition, Jonathan is also wearing a high-tech Jawbone bracelet. “It’s like a fitness tracker,” he explains. “I use it to keep track of my activity for the day.” When asked whether he is a bit of a health nut, however, Jonathan laughs. “No lah, not really.” Nonetheless, in an outfit like this, we think he’s definitely on track.
