Morning Glory

Dawn insists that we caught her on one of her off days, but we think her simple striped top, structured mid-length skirt, and nude flats ooze easy elegance. She provides an interesting opinion on office dress codes: “I think it makes dressing up easier. They provide guidelines that form the “box to think out of”.” To make her simple outfits pop, Dawn occasionally turns to statement pieces like a brooch or chunky necklace. Her bubbly personality serves her well in her field of work, as she says that her favourite part of her job is the opportunity to meet different people, listen to their stories and share it with the public. Dawn has also come up with quite a repertoire of (made-up) answers to the barrage of people who ask her why she is so tall: “One of my all-time favourites is: “I am a quarter Icelandic”.” While cheerful and affable, Dawn is also one grounded girl, and she lives by this quote from Dr. Seuss: You have brains in your head and feet in your shoes, you can steer yourself in any direction you choose. “It reminds me to take charge of my own life, and to decide the path I wish to take wisely.”
