Never A Dull Moment

“I don’t think I have a personal style. But being simple and chic is not my motto! You’d rarely find me in a black dress or a pair of jeans. I just aim to look nice.” Angie is one who knows what works for her. Instead of a frequent go-to style, she matches what she wears with her skin colour, gravitating towards gold hues, blue, green, red, yellow, and purple, or all of the above. “The black dress I am wearing is a little short, so I threw on a pair of electric blue culottes. To top it off, I personalised my outfit with a necklace designed and made by my friend.” she says, “I generally love colours. Let there never be a dull moment in life, including the clothes you put on.” Aside from her colourful outlook on life, Angie tries to maintain an active lifestyle through practicing yoga, “admiring the ladies who do yoga effortlessly and without trembling”, and in her free time spends time with the people who matter, reads fiction novels, and watches movies, allowing them to transport her, even for a moment, to another realm. Other than that, she relishes in chancing upon “new-old places” in Singapore which gives her an idea of a past that she’s never lived in, in present times, such as The Projector at Golden Mile Tower. Angie lives by her mother’s motto, “You never fail by failing. You only fail by not trying. So don’t give up. Be determined to do what you want to do, and while at it, do your best.”
