If you could switch lives with anyone for a day, who would it be?
Amy Winehouse. Her voice was amazing, and even though her life was tragic, I’d like to know what it was like to be like her just for a day.

What’s something you think more people should know or care about?
I think people could be more socially responsible on environmental issues, specifically with the use of plastic. Some people are still quite oblivious about these things, despite their prevalence on social media. The amount of waste generated by single-use plastic straws and disposable cups is really high, and it seems pretty redundant to ask for a plastic straw when you can drink out of a bottle.

What’s an experience you’d like to have?
I’d like to be a nomad, and live in various places over the world. One place I’d want to live in would be India. The culture always amazes me and I’d want to try different food.

Do you have any style icons or inspirations, fashion-wise?
I really like Winona Ryder’s style in the ’90’s, and also hippie fashion from the ’70’s. Some of the tops that I frequently wear were my mum’s, or thrifted.

What are some of your comfort foods?
I love bread and butter—really anything buttery, like biscuits or cakes, depending on my mood. I also love dim sum, like siew mai. 

If you had to live on a desert island all by yourself, what are some things you’d bring with you?
I’d want to have a camper van, because it’s like a moving house. I’d also have a portable hammock that I can use for stargazing. Most importantly, I’d bring insect repellent with me!
