Originally from New Zealand, Lana works in luxury travel, and says that her favourite cities so far are Istanbul, and Montenegro. “There’s such a rich history and culture in those cities, and those are some of the reasons why I love travelling so much.” It’s no wonder that her style seems to be resort-inspired; her romper with eyelet and cut-out details is perfect for the heat we have. “And you have a little Singaporean touch!” she says, pointing out her shoes, from local label Charles & Keith. Lana seems to have assimilated well in her 5 years here; sadly, she’ll be moving to New York soon. We ask her what she’ll miss most about Singapore, and she can’t quite decide. “I’ll miss the weather,” she says, at first. “No — I’ll miss the people. No, wait, I’m going to miss the food the most.”
