Marble has been having a moment, and Wan Ting’s marble-print dress is no exception. We like how the structure of the dress gives it some shape, and flatters her body as well — something which she takes particular notice of. “I think it’s important to wear clothes that fit well and compliment one’s body shape and size,” she says. “Oh, and nothing too revealing!” Beyond learning how to pick the right clothes, Wan Ting also says that when it comes to work, it’s important to be proactive and enthusiastic. “Ask questions when in doubt, and don’t be afraid to make mistakes.” She’s also learnt the importance of knowing her priorities, and setting aside time to rest and recharge. “During my free time, I catch up with my shows, and exercise,” she says. “It is important to maintain an active lifestyle with work, so I shut off after work and during weekends.” Wan Ting says she is “super geeky” and reads journal articles for leisure sometimes, which could be something that she’s been doing since her days as a student, and she sometimes wishes she could go back to studying. “Student life was the most carefree and happiest period of my life, and I really enjoy acquiring new knowledge and learning more about the world,” she says. “Knowledge is empowering!” Even as she grows up and matures, Wan Ting is sure to never lose sight of this zest for life and learning. “Enjoy your youth,” she says. “You’ll never be younger than you are at this very moment.”
