Silver Lining

We met Qaisara towards the end of a long shoot day, just when the sky became overcast and a light drizzle put an end to our scouting. Qaisara looked like she had dressed for the weather: comfortable, wide-legged jeans; a simple utilitarian jacket; practical Dr. Martens that staved off any chance of rain-drenched socks; and simple, 90’s-inspired silver accessories accented her outfit. She shared with us that she was currently doing a design-related major, and while she loves playing with colours in her work, she leans towards more muted tones in her wardrobe. Though a little camera shy in the beginning, she had a warm presence that lit up the dreary mood of the evening.
