Sunshine In The Dark
Yun isn’t afraid of colour, as evidenced in this cheery ensemble. “My everyday style that I feel the most “me” in usually consists of bright, clashing colours and prints,” she says. “Of course, I do enjoy the usual all-black ensemble, but definitely colors any other day.” She also finds pleasure in dressing much younger than her age. “I’m 24, but I enjoy dressing like I’m 15,” she says. “Lately, I’ve been living out of my white dungarees, and pairing them with everything possible. I especially love pairing my casual sneakers with my girlie outfits of skirts and palazzo pants.” Yun’s publishing job was a struggle for her at first, because she felt completely lost in the beginning, but it has become something that she has accepted, and even embraced. “I love that I am sometimes flat-out clueless about what my editors may be talking about,” she says. “I now know that starting out empty is best because you absorb most effectively.” Another thing that has allowed her to feel completely at home with her work: the fact that she constantly reminds herself that she is not her job. With that, Yun finds time outside of work to run her own DIY blog, Stitches & Maps, with her best friend.
