Caught strolling by the river with her adorable daughter, En, in tow, Kuremi was an instant standout in her utilitarian, workwear-inspired look. Exuding a kind, nurturing aura and cheery disposition, mother and daughter were undaunted by the rain and gamely posed for us. Simple and understated, it is elements like her tone-on-tone pairings that illustrate thought and character. Here, she layers a denim shirt atop a lighter coloured dress in a similar material, and pairs scrunched up socks with matching round-toed canvas sneakers in jet black. Perfectly apt for the rainy season, a camel coloured, knitted beanie also adds that cool factor to sum the look up. Kuremi is a conductor of food classes and presentations in Japan and is in Singapore currently to seek opportunities.
