To most visitors, Singapore’s known for our perennial summer, but these days it seems like the only thing that’s for certain is the unpredictability of the weather. Short of carrying an umbrella everywhere you go, a hat’s your safest bet for staying dry or cool. While baseball caps are tried and tested, in recent years we’ve also seen camp caps and ‘dad hats’ gaining in popularity as a slimmer alternative to the classic silhouette. For a less streetwear-inspired look, try on other varieties for size—perhaps a straw hat or fedora for a dressier vibe that’s also functionally airy, or a beret or newsboy cap for some quirky, old-world charm. No matter the weather, these hats and caps make sure you can keep a cool—or dry—head in style.
