If you could turn back time and relive one moment in life, what would it be?
I generally don’t like to think about going back in time because I think there’s no point worrying about “could-haves” and “should-haves” but for the purposes of answering this hypothetical, I wish I could go back to the day I was supposed to go onstage to collect some prize in school. Unfortunately, I wasn’t allowed to claim my glory because I contracted chickenpox the day before, so I will just have to keep imagining the applause in my head until the day I die.

If you could change one thing about yourself, what would it be and why?
I wish I could be more focused. I generally find it easy to start things but a lot more challenging to go through with them. I tend to get a bit too excited over new projects but later find it quite difficult to persevere and complete these tasks. It might also be because sometimes I feel like I get a bit lost along the way. I think it helps to plan out the steps that you are going to take to reach your goals. With structure in place, it might be easier for me to adopt a mentality that is more suited for marathons and not just sprints. It’s definitely a work in progress for me!

Buy a blazer. On days when I simply cannot think of what to wear (like today), I put on a blazer. It almost doesn’t matter what you wear on the inside. It can take you from yuck to yum in three seconds. #blazychic #blazinghot #justblazy.

The one item I’ve repeatedly worn over the past month:
My sunglasses. I get made fun of so much for wearing sunglasses on my head all the time but I just feel super incomplete without them. I guess you just can’t please everyone (laughs). It’s the same way some people feel naked without their watches on their wrist. Let them laugh, but you’ll always be prepared for the occasional ray of sunshine or that impromptu photo shoot, case in point.

What’s the nicest thing someone has ever done for you?
I’m more an auditory person, so I’ll talk more about the nicest thing someone has said to me. I can’t remember the exact context at this point in time, but a close friend once told me that I restored his faith in humanity, and that basically took the cake. I don’t know how anyone can top that. That was super impactful to me and also scary considering how I basically represented humanity to him unknowingly. But maybe he said that because he knew I was flattery-operated and I guess that’s why we remain close friends up to this day!
