This week was about the darker side of things, although it was hardly sombre. We saw shades of royal navy, rich plum, emerald green, slate grey, and a classic military green as well — all perfect if you’d like to try out a bit more colour but aren’t feeling that adventurous yet. Also note that these ladies all stuck to solid colours, and picked shades that worked best with their skin tones. Colours with a cooler undertone are best left to the fair of face, while warm colours do well on those with a healthy tan. Start with simple, everyday pieces in different colours to build up your look, and then mix and match as you go.
