We would normally think to layer only when length and proportion are contrasting. Layering a pair of leggings underneath a mid-length skirt might seem a tad fussy, wholly unnecessary even. But perhaps, it’s about not letting any strip of skin left unattended, cast aside. It is time to rethink and reinvent this subtle art.
