Widya describes her personal style as “classic chic” with a love for timeless designs. To express her individuality while staying elegant, she prefers to mix and match versatile basics, jazzing up the final ensemble with a splash of colour or unique necklaces. Widya works in international real estate, and values formal and professional dressing — that means a definite no-no to flip flops, short skirts or plunging necklines, even if it’s on casual Fridays. “You should still put in some effort to look smart even when you want to be comfortable!” she says. As part of her job, Widya frequently travels and meets new people, which she enjoys tremendously. In fact, if she wasn’t in her current career, she says she’d be working in travel and hospitality. “I love my job, but I have always dreamed of owning cool and swanky private holiday villas around the world and running a “holiday-lets” business.” Looking up to Ivanka Trump, Widya hopes to be as successful in her present career and future endeavours. Still, the workaholic admits to once being too busy for family and friends, and now stresses on the importance of achieving a work-life balance. “Delegate some tasks to other team members; that’s my tip to help you cope.” Ultimately, whether at work or in life, Widya tries to lives by her personal motto: “Dance like no one’s watching; sing like no one’s listening; love like you’ll never get hurt; and live like it’s Heaven on earth.”
