Rooted

Something most people don’t know about me:
I’m from Myanmar, but I’m Singaporean. My parents are Burmese but I came to Singapore when I was very young. I still go back once a year to visit.

Favourite food back home:
Mohinga. It’s like a fish stew, something that you can eat at anytime of the day.

The scariest thing I’ve ever done:
Climbing a volcano in Bali, called Mount Agung. It was a 12 hour hike, and my friend didn’t tell me how intense it was going to be, so I didn’t prepare for it! We started hiking at midnight and it was noon by the time we came down.

If I could be anything, I’d want to be:
A journalist. I like to interview and talk to people.

Something I’ve learnt from work:
To shine, and to grow people’s minds. I’m one of the few women in my company, but I feel that women in tech can really blow people away.
