Reaching Out

I’m from the Caribbean.
I’ve been working in Singapore for the past four years, after my company decided to move me here. I like it here because it’s clean, safe, well-organised, and also good for kids. There’s also a good balance between business and greenery, which I think is the most attractive thing about Singapore.

Favourite local foods:
Black pepper crab, Indian food, and chicken rice—it’s easy and fast.

If you had all the time in the world to do anything, what would it be and why?
It’s always been a dream of my husband and mine to provide children who can’t go to school with an opportunity for education, so that they can help themselves later on.

What’s your wardrobe essential?
I like high heels. I think that no matter what you wear, once you put on heels, you look well put-together. So even if you’re wearing a t-shirt and jeans, heels will make it look great.

One thing I‘ll never be caught wearing:
Overalls, because I already look very childish—people would think I’m 15! And I don’t like mini skirts. I like to present myself in a feminine yet conservative manner. I like classy with a hint of sexy but not too much, more lady-like and less exposed.
