Something interesting about me:
Although I’m working in an advertising firm, I’m very interested in floristry, so that’s what I do as a hobby in my free time. I studied landscape architecture in the past, so my life revolved around greens.
Best decision ever:
To pick up the courage to learn about flower arrangement in Europe. I decided that I should really pursue my passion, so I went there for a two week course. It wasn’t of any style in particular, but the knowledge of arrangement, understanding the flowers, and how they put different flowers together. It wasn’t just making a bouquet, but flower arches as well, something of a bigger scale. It’s not something that is very popular in Singapore, so over there I talked to people who really learnt about and worked on such things.
What’s the most ridiculous thing that you’ve ever worn?
I think it would be one of those jackets with big shoulder pads. Because I’m a very petite person, when I wear it, I look kind of like a kid wearing adult clothes.
If you could have a superpower, what would it be and why?
Help everybody get rid of any frustration or anger, so that they can go to work happy, and be happy every day. (laughs)
My favourite movie:
Anything about natural disasters. Not being negative, but I’m often impressed by the cinematic effects and realise that life is fragile, and the act of being selfless is admirable.
If you could trade lives with someone for a day, who would it be and why?
Chriselle Lim, a fashion stylist/lifestyle and beauty blogger/influencer/entrepreneur and a mum. She is such an inspiration for me and I always wonder how someone can achieve and manage so many things in life. I admire her determination and the effort she puts into everything.
