I’m Vietnamese, but I’ve been in Singapore for 15 years.
It took some time for me to adjust to life here at first, but now Singapore is a second home to me. I do still go back to Vietnam to visit my family, since my parents live in Hanoi.

What’s your most memorable trip?
I have family around the world—my sister lives in the United States, and I have an uncle in Russia, so I’ve had the chance to travel quite a lot. I’ve also been to Egypt, Japan, and Australia, but I haven’t explored a lot of Vietnam. In 2015, I trekked to Hang En in Vietnam, which is the world’s third largest cave, so that was pretty memorable.

If you could only eat one thing for the rest of your life, what would it be?
Yogurt. (laughs) I’m kind of a geek about it, but if I could only eat one thing it would be yoghurt—it has sugar, proteins, minerals, and vitamins so I could probably survive for quite some time on it.

What’s a useless talent you have?
I used to play Facebook games quite a lot, and at one point I was the number 11 player in Geography Challenge in all of Singapore.

What’s currently on repeat on your Spotify playlist?
I recently watched The Greatest Showman, so I’ve been listening to the soundtrack quite a lot.

If you could have a superpower, what would it be and why?
I think being able to predict the future would be pretty interesting.
