Tell us about what you do.
I’m a Vice President of a startup that aims to help millennials move up the property ladder. We wanted to democratise real estate transactions, so we developed this platform where millennials could invest small amounts of money into various projects to diversify their risk.

What’s one thing people don’t know about you?
People don’t know this because I’m in the office all the time, but I love to travel. I love seeing new places and meeting people from different cultures. When I’m somewhere new, I like going to local restaurants and bars and chatting with people.

Where’s the best hotel you’ve stayed in?
I’ve been to the Park Hyatt in Milan, which was enjoyable. I also liked my stay at the Hotel Excelsior in Capri, Italy. Even though it was a boutique hotel, its small scale made for personal interactions with the staff, which is something you don’t get with bigger hotel chains.

If you could live anywhere in the world, where would it be?
This is very clichéd, but I’d pick Singapore. I’ve been to many places around the world, but Singapore is home for me. I love how secure it is and how accessible everything is—the traffic jams in Jakarta are impossible, but we don’t have that problem in Singapore.

Favourite comfort foods?
I like chee cheong fun, chwee kueh, and carbonara. I’m also something of a junk food addict, so Indomie from Indonesia, especially the spicy version.

If there was one dish that describes you, what would it be?
Chwee kueh. The basic foundations are there, but depending on the toppings, I have the option of being a little salty or a little spicy.
