We can’t help but admire Luiza’s discipline. “I try to hit the gym at 6.45AM every morning before work. I find that a daily sweat session keeps my mind alert and focused throughout the day.” This sense of discipline is carried over into her work as well. “We are what we repeatedly do,” she says. “Excellence and success are therefore not acts, but habits.” It helps that Luiza isn’t one to back away when the going gets tough. “I love that my job puts me out of my comfort zone, and that I have a new set of challenges to deal with every day,” she says. “The learning curve is very steep and I’m learning something new every day, and this keeps me upbeat and excited to get to work.” No matter how much she loves her work, though, Luiza always makes sure that she has time set aside for the people that are closest to her. “At the end of the day, my family and friends always come before work.” When it comes to her dress sense, Luiza says that her style is usually minimalist and classy. “I’m mostly in shift dresses from Mondays to Thursdays,” she says. “Fridays are more versatile for me, and I experiment with different looks like jumpsuits and long pants.” There’s one thing she’s adamant about when it comes to what she wears, however. “I have zero tolerance for crumpled clothes! The small effort put into ironing your clothes goes a long, long way.” Luiza believes in being her best self in any role that she finds herself in, something which is inspired by a quote from Abraham Lincoln. “‘Whatever you are, be a good one,’ the quote goes. Be awesome at everything you are — whether you are a lawyer, doctor, artist, mother, daughter, friend, sister, girlfriend, etc.” It’s not that Luiza doesn’t know how to loosen up and have a bit of fun, however, as we can tell by her taste in music. “I love oldies,” she says. “My playlist comprises mostly of songs from the 90s, and my friends are always judging me for that. My all-time favourite band is ‘Michael Learns To Rock’.”
